Yvonne (Laurenson) Robertson was born on Holm in the beautiful Orkney Islands, off the north coast of Scotland. She married Neil in 1985 and with their two sons, lived in various locations in the UK including the tiny village of Glamis, the birthplace of the late Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.
Her son’s, like all of the village children, spent many summers, playing in the beautiful castle grounds, now the home of the current Lord and Lady Strathmore. In 2007 they made the momentous decision to immigrate to the US, where the idea to write a transatlantic love affair was born. An avid poetry and short story writer most of her life she turned her hand to writing a romance novel and The Cuckoo In The Nest series was born, followed shortly afterward by the Vampire Brides series and the standalone books Craving The Love Of A Vampire Queen and Picture Perfect, a story of secrets, lies and abuse.
